Kochi Mayor elected to global climate alliance’s board
Kochi’s mayor has been elected to the board of the Global Climate Alliance (GCoM), a coalition of more than 14,000 cities and local governments from 150 countries. The alliance, spanning six continents, represents over 1.2 billion residents worldwide. GCoM seeks to accelerate climate action through collaboration. As a board member, the mayor will help shape policies and share best practices, boosting India’s climate leadership.
