2 motors of Narlapur PH of Palamuru-Rangareddy LIS switched on for drinking water
Two high‑capacity pumps at the Narlapur Phase‑I lift‑irrigation scheme in Palamuru‑Rangareddy have been commissioned to supply drinking water. Each unit can generate 145 megawatts, a capacity described as the largest globally for any lift‑irrigation installation. The scheme is expected to benefit several thousand residents across the district.
