Merry squishmas: £10 squeezy banana on list of top festive season toys
Hamleys reports that squishy toys, including a £10 banana, have entered the top festive‑season toy list, driven by social‑media hype. The items now rank alongside favourites such as Lego and Barbie, showing consumer demand for affordable, tactile playthings during the holidays. The trend is part of a wider online squishy craze, with collectors sharing videos, and analysts say low price may sustain sales through Christmas.
