Cardiology dept. in Kozhikode MCH in need of critical care
The cardiology unit at Kozhikode’s Medical College Hospital is facing a shortage of critical‑care personnel. Although the department is authorized to have 14 permanent doctors, only eight are currently employed, and one of those has been temporarily assigned to the Government MCH in Wayanad under a working‑arrangement scheme. The shortfall hampers the department’s ability to provide essential cardiac services.
