Keralam Assembly: Opposition LDF, ruling UDF trade barbs over power situation
During a Kerala assembly session, members of the opposition Left Democratic Front and the ruling United Democratic Front exchanged accusations over the state's electricity crisis. CPI legislator G.R. Anil moved an adjournment motion, alleging the problem was deliberately engineered with the UDF government's consent to facilitate entry of private power companies into Kerala's energy market.
