SIC may seek clarification from Kochi Corporation on alleged move to curb RTI applications
The State Information Commission (SIC) may seek clarification from the Kochi Corporation after it decided to hand over details of repeat RTI applicants to the Vigilance and Anti‑Corruption Bureau for a financial background probe. The commission will meet on Wednesday following a suo‑motu notice. The RTI Act does not set a limit on the number of applications a person can file.
