BJP women MPs meet President Murmu, seek Cong MP's suspension from Lok Sabha over JNU ‘sexual misconduct’
Fifteen female members of the Bharatiya Janata Party met President Droupadi Murmu, urging her to intervene in a parliamentary matter. They asked that a Congress lawmaker, accused of sexual misconduct related to a 2022 incident at Jawaharlal Nehru University, be suspended and lose his seat in the Lok Sabha. The MPs said the member continues to serve despite the allegations.
