West Bengal SIR: Special drive in all 24 districts to include eligible voters
West Bengal's State Election Commission has launched a special registration drive across all 24 districts aimed at enrolling eligible voters who are not yet on the electoral roll. The initiative follows directives from the Election Commission of India, which instructed state authorities to ensure comprehensive voter inclusion ahead of upcoming elections. Officials will conduct verification and use tools to update records, aiming to boost participation.
