SC refuses to entertain plea for CBI probe into sale of tickets by UP-based political parties
The Supreme Court declined a petition asking for a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into alleged ticket‑selling by political parties in Uttar Pradesh. The bench instructed the petitioner to file the complaint with the Election Commission instead. This follows a prior decision by the Allahabad High Court, which also refused to entertain the same request.
