Keralam pollution control board asks Kochi Corporation to stop vehicle washing, waste dumping near Kadambrayar at Brahmapuram
Kerala’s State Pollution Control Board, after inspections at the Brahmapuram dump site near Kadambrayar, reported that trucks used to collect food waste are being cleaned on‑site. The board has directed Kochi Corporation to cease both the vehicle washing and any waste dumping at the location, citing environmental concerns. The board said the practice contravenes waste‑management rules and risks contaminating nearby water bodies.
