UN-backed proposed world map must depict J-K, Ladakh as per India's official map: MEA
India's Ministry of External Affairs said a United Nations‑backed draft world map must show the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh exactly as they appear on India's official map. The ministry warned that any depiction that deviates from the official representation would be considered inaccurate and unacceptable. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal emphasized that the map must reflect India's sovereign territory without distortion.
