Karnataka will continue with probe into efforts to illegally delete names of genuine voters, says Chief Minister
Karnataka Chief Minister announced that the state will keep investigating attempts to illegally remove legitimate voters' names from the electoral roll. He said that hundreds of thousands of Form 7 applications, which were used to delete names, have been withdrawn after legal action was taken against those exploiting the process. The probe will continue to address misuse of the deletion mechanism.
