Saracens sack player who sparked Stokes captaincy crisis after latest incident
Saracens have released academy player Totoa Auvaa, who earlier sparked a captaincy dispute by punching England teammate Gus Atkinson, leading to Ben Stokes stepping down. The club said Auvaa departed after a further incident over the weekend. The decision comes amid scrutiny over the club's handling of player conduct and the national team's leadership turmoil. The club cited repeated disciplinary breaches as the reason for the release.
