QR code tags help trace missing children during Dasara Utsavams atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada
During the Dasara Utsavams at Indrakeeladri hill in Vijayawada, authorities have attached QR code tags to children under ten. The codes link to the child’s parents’ contact details. If a devotee, police officer, or temple staff spot a missing child, they can scan the tag, retrieve the family information, and return the child safely. The initiative aims to improve child safety during large religious gatherings.
