Family, residents seek speedy trial, death penalty to accused in Kowkoor girl’s murder case
Relatives and local residents of Kowkoor are urging authorities to expedite the murder trial of a girl and to pursue the death penalty for those charged. Malkajgiri Deputy Commissioner of Police Ch. Sridhar pledged a swift, comprehensive investigation and said the police will aim for capital punishment against the suspects. He also assured the victim's family that the case would be handled with utmost diligence.
