Army launches Bharat Rice for troops, signs MoU with FCI to bolster operational logistics
The Indian Army announced the introduction of a new rice brand, Bharat Rice, for its personnel. A memorandum of understanding with the Food Corporation of India will allow the army to receive rice shipments directly at its supply depots, including locations in Ladakh and the Northeast. The pact also grants access to FCI warehouses, staff and handling equipment for emergency logistics.
