Display rates of healthcare services prominently, Centre tells States
The health ministry has directed state governments to require hospitals and other clinical providers to show the prices of their services in clear, visible formats. The aim is to help patients compare costs, build confidence and reduce billing disputes. The directive also asks facilities serving foreign patients on medical or Ayush visas to publish package rates.
