Exeter finally find first win despite Christian Wade’s hat-trick for Newcastle
Exeter secured their inaugural Premiership victory of the campaign, edging Newcastle 34‑28. The win was highlighted by Christian Wade’s three‑try performance, which took him past the 100‑try milestone, making him only the second player in top‑level rugby to achieve that figure. The contest was high‑scoring, with both clubs combining for 62 points.
