TVK cadre blow whistles during Modi’s speech, show placards hailing Vijay as ‘next PM’
Supporters of the TVK party disrupted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public address by blowing whistles and holding signs that proclaimed Vijay as the forthcoming prime minister. Police intervened, warning the group that their actions were causing a disturbance. After a short pause, the protesters resumed again the whistles and placards, continuing the interruption of the speech.
