Modi and Vijay commit themselves to working together for Tamil Nadu’s development
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Tamil Nadu leader Vijay pledged continued cooperation for the state's progress while launching multiple initiatives, including the Chennai Metro's Vadapalani‑Poonamallee corridor. Modi emphasized that despite shifts in administration, his dedication to Tamil Nadu’s development and public service stays unchanged. The ceremony also launched infrastructure and welfare schemes to improve transport, health and education in the region.
