‘Operation Stripes’ put on hold as starving Explorer stranded in a stone quarry
Operation Stripes, a wildlife rescue initiative, has been suspended after a male tiger was found trapped in a stone quarry in India. The animal has been without food for over four days, unable to hunt due to the quarry’s surrounding artificial ponds. Officials are assessing options to free the tiger while ensuring its safety and proper care.
