BJP to protest against Congress’s ‘political patronage’ of dismissed JNU academic
India’s ruling BJP announced that its women’s wing will stage a protest on Monday, accusing the opposition Congress of politically protecting a dismissed Jawaharlal Nehru University professor. The rally, named Nari Shakti Hunkar Andolan, is planned to march from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg to Congress’s Indira Bhawan headquarters, after which participants will hold a demonstration.
