‘Cockroach’ party leaders say India is ‘at war with its citizens’ as protests enter second day
Leaders of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation, known as the ‘Cockroach’ party, said the government is waging war on its people as nationwide protests entered a second day. They accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s administration of fostering a climate of fear after security forces detained thousands of demonstrators on Saturday and called for an end to the crackdown.
