E-autos remain out of service as Rs. 30,000 subsidy per auto delayed in Kerala
In Kerala, the Ernakulam District Autorickshaw Drivers Cooperative Society says 30 of its 105 electric auto‑rickshaws have been out of operation for a year because the promised Rs 30,000 per‑vehicle subsidy has not been released. The cooperative has approached the state High Court seeking enforcement of the delayed payments, which it says are essential to keep the fleet running.
