8,000 philately passports sold in a matter of few hours across Karnataka
Around 8,000 limited‑edition philately passports were snapped up within a few hours after sales began at 2 a.m. on Oct. 11, 2026, in Karnataka. Postal officials said queues stretched several hundred metres as travel enthusiasts, stamp collectors and other interested buyers gathered early in the morning to purchase the items. The Karnataka Postal Circle organized the launch, aiming to promote philately and tourism through the special issue.
