Two Carlton players treated in hospital after needing care for ‘separate circumstances’
The AFL club Carlton confirmed that two of its players were admitted to hospital for different reasons. Midfielder Lachie Cowan required medical attention, while defender Will Hayward sustained a minor head laceration after a fall. The club released a short statement acknowledging the incidents and indicating both players are receiving care. They are expected to recover and return when fit.
