Anti-CEC protest: Dilli Haat becomes Jantar Mantar for a day
Gathered in smaller groups near the INA area, demonstrators struggled to reach the designated protest site at Dilli Haat, which had been converted into a makeshift Jantar Mantar for the day. Police detained hundreds, citing security concerns amid the anti‑CEC demonstration. The protest was part of a broader movement against the Central Election Commission's new guidelines, demanding clearer transparency and accountability.
