Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada gears up for Dasara festivities from October 11
The Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada is preparing for the Dasara celebrations that begin on October 11. On the opening day, the goddess will be presented as Sri Bala Tripura Sundari Devi. Authorities have mobilised more than 3,000 police officers to manage crowds and ensure security during the festival. The temple, a major pilgrimage site, will host processions and cultural events.
