Kidwai’s home-based palliative care reaches over 3,000 patients and caregivers
Kidwai Institute’s home‑based palliative care program has reached more than 3,000 patients and their caregivers across India, offering regular home visits and bereavement support. The initiative, highlighted on World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, aims to improve end‑of‑life care by providing medical, emotional and spiritual assistance directly in patients’ homes. It trains local volunteers and coordinates with community health workers to ensure continuity of care.
