J&K regional parties join anti-CEC protests in Kashmir; Mehbooba, Omar liken Delhi situation to Kashmir of 2019
Regional parties in Jammu and Kashmir, including the PDP and JKLF, have joined protests against the Chief Election Commissioner. Leaders Mehbooba Mufti and Omar Abdullah compared the current Delhi environment to the 2019 Kashmir situation. Security forces prevented a planned march on Lal Chowk, while demonstrators displayed placards bearing Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CEC Rajiv Kumar's names.
