Land acquisition for high-speed rail corridors without requisition illegal: Union Minister Kishan Reddy
Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy clarified that the central government has not issued any requisition orders to state authorities for acquiring land along the proposed high‑speed rail routes linking Hyderabad with Chennai, Bengaluru and Pune. He said the projects remain in the alignment‑study phase, and that proceeding with acquisition without a formal requisition would be unlawful.
