KSRTC promises steps to ensure reserved seats for senior citizens on buses

The proposal includes an online reservation system, authorising conductors to fine passengers who occupy the reserved seats, and examining measures such as reducing step height and repositioning elderly‑specific seats to improve accessibility. Officials said the measures will improve travel safety for seniors.
