‘Hypocrisy’ in Congress stand on women’s empowerment, claims BJP
A BJP spokesperson criticised the Congress party for alleged hypocrisy on women’s empowerment, pointing out that in the four states where Congress currently governs—Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Telangana—the number of female cabinet members is low. Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka have no women ministers, Kerala has two, and Telangana has two, one of whom was recently removed.
