
Karnataka HC pulls up KPSC, transport authorities over false certificates on training in non-existing heavy vehicles with petrol engine
India's Karnataka High Court criticised the Karnataka Public Service Commission and state transport bodies for issuing fraudulent training certificates. The court said the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation and Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation falsely claimed candidates had been trained on repairing heavy‑goods and heavy‑passenger vehicles equipped with petrol engines—vehicles that do not exist. The judgment highlighted blatant misrepresentation.
