CPI(M) worker convicted in BJP worker murder case
An activist of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has been found guilty for the 2009 murder of a Bharatiya Janata Party supporter. The victim, Vinayan, was brutally attacked with a knife in Kurichikkara, Champad, on March 12, 2009. The court’s verdict confirms the accused’s involvement and imposes a prison sentence. He received a life term along with a fine.
