Tamil Nadu bypoll results: TVK leads in Madurantakam, Dharapuram seats
By-elections were held in Tamil Nadu’s Madurantakam and Dharapuram constituencies after the sitting AIADMK legislators Maragatham Kumaravel and P. Sathyabama stepped down to join the ruling party, TVK. The vacancies arose after the 2026 Assembly poll winners left their AIADMK posts to align with TVK, prompting the bypolls. While final results await, preliminary figures place the TVK frontrunner ahead in each constituency.
