Justice Nagu recuses from hearing Punjab appeal against HC order for CBI probe into corruption allegations
Supreme Court Justice N.K. Nagu has withdrawn from a case involving Punjab's challenge to a Punjab and Haryana High Court ruling that ordered a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into alleged corruption. Nagu, who previously served as chief justice of that high court before joining the Supreme Court, cited potential conflict of interest and therefore recused himself from hearing the appeal.
