Assam Rifles and Indian Army bomb‑disposal units cleared 27 improvised explosive devices discovered along an eight‑kilometre stretch of the Shangkhalok‑Pilong road in Kamjong district, Manipur. The operation followed the killing of four Tangkhul Naga civilians near Pilong village earlier in the week. Authorities said the devices were safely neutralised. The clearance was carried out over two days, and no casualties were reported among the personnel.
