Coal production re-accelerates amid easing monsoon; daily output rises to 1.7 MT
Coal India reported that daily coal output increased to 1.7 million tonnes as monsoon conditions eased, allowing production and dispatch to pick up speed. The company holds a large inventory, which it says can buffer against potential supply interruptions.
