Keralam govt. allocates over ₹600 cr. additional funds for Karunya health schemes

Kerala’s government has earmarked more than ₹600 crore for its Karunya health schemes, expanding coverage for low‑income families. The allocation will fund additional medical services and subsidize treatment costs across the state. The move follows earlier commitments to improve access to affordable healthcare for vulnerable populations. The funds will also support the procurement of medical equipment and the training of healthcare workers in rural districts.
