7,000 CRPF personnel pulled from Chattisgarh, Bengal deployed in Delhi ahead of CJP’s October 10 protest
CRPF has withdrawn 7,000 personnel from Chhattisgarh and deployed forces from Bengal to Delhi in preparation for the CJP protest scheduled for October 10. The troops are equipped with the latest anti‑riot gear, operational‑scale weapons and prescribed ammunition. Home Minister Amit Shah has stayed in Delhi, canceling all external visits to monitor the situation during the preparations.
