Madhya Pradesh tribal children deaths: Centre, State caution against attributing it to a single pathogen
In Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat district, six tribal children died between June and August. Health officials from the state and central governments say the investigations are looking at a range of contributors, including measles, malaria, respiratory infections, malnutrition, anaemia, dehydration and delayed medical care, and limited public health resources. They warn against attributing the deaths to any single disease.
