Car falls into sinkhole as road caves in near Chennai’s Tidel Park
Near Chennai’s Tidel Park, a vehicle sank into a newly formed sinkhole after the road collapsed. The driver and passengers got out before the car completely dropped into the depression. Authorities noted that a similar incident occurred in May 2025 when a call‑taxi fell into the same stretch following a cave‑in, prompting concerns over road safety.
