Normal life hit in Odisha as INDIA bloc parties observe bandh over new mining law, other issues
Across Odisha, daily activities were halted as parties belonging to the INDIA alliance staged a bandh to protest a newly introduced mining legislation and related concerns. Numerous businesses, fuel stations, retail outlets and several schools and colleges remained shut in the morning hours. Public transport services, including buses and auto‑rickshaws, were also withdrawn from operation.
