ECI special drive till Oct 9 to enrol young, first-time eligible voters
The Election Commission of India has announced a special enrolment drive that will run until October 9, targeting young and first‑time voters. Official Chief Electoral Officer Archana Patnaik said that camps will be held across districts, with a preference for October 10 to register new voters. The initiative aims to boost voter participation among younger citizens. It will also provide voter education.
