INDIA bloc yet to get President’s appointment on ECI concerns
An opposition bloc in India is still awaiting the President’s decision on its request to raise concerns with the Election Commission. The group has consented to cut its proposed delegation from fifteen to ten members. Separately, CPI(M) MP John Brittas has received a reply to his petition concerning the SIR controversy. The response addressed alleged irregularities in the SIR case.
