Cabinet panel to probe alleged lapses in Jagananna colonies in Andhra Pradesh
An Andhra Pradesh cabinet committee has been formed to investigate complaints about the Jagananna housing colonies. The panel will examine claims that government land was bought at above‑market prices and that parcels unsuitable for residential use were acquired. The state’s Public Enterprises and Nodal Agency for Land (Penal) must deliver its findings within 45 days.
