Police personnel urged to prepare action plan for upcoming local body elections

In a preparedness meeting, they reviewed the current law‑and‑order climate, outstanding cases, recent arrests, offenses targeting women and girls, issues arising from social media, political tensions, and incidents involving scheduled‑caste and scheduled‑tribe communities, and the need for coordinated response.
