
Supreme Court to hear Centre’s contempt plea against appointment of Jharkhand DGP Tadasha Mishra
India's Supreme Court has agreed to consider a contempt petition filed by the government over the appointment of Jharkhand's Director General of Police, Tadasha Mishra. The petition was presented by Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who asked that the matter be added to the court's docket. The hearing will be before a bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant with Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V. Mohana.
