Ukraine accuses Russia of bombing apartment block as birthday gift for Putin
Ukraine says Russian forces struck an apartment building in the northeastern town of Pryluky, killing nine people, among them three children, just before President Vladimir Putin’s 74th birthday. Kyiv's officials described the attack as a deliberate act intended as a ‘birthday gift’ for the Russian leader. The blast destroyed the block and left many injured.
